To access the “Asset Purchase” page and understand how to purchase new assets:

To access the “Asset Purchase” page, please follow these instructions:

  • First, go to the Assets screen from the main menu by clicking on the option related to Assets. Then, a window with operations will appear, where you will click on it.
  • When you are in the operations window, you will need to select the link labeled “Asset Purchase,” which will allow you to access the relevant page.

 

Explanation of How to “Purchase New Assets”:

  • Basic Invoice Information:

    1. Selecting the Invoice Owner (Supplier): First, you will need to select the invoice owner, which is the supplier you are dealing with, from the dropdown menu of available suppliers.
    2. Invoice Creation Date: The creation date of the invoice is automatically set to the current date, but you can modify it if necessary. This date reflects the date of the transaction.
    3. Unique Reference for the Invoice: Also, each invoice carries a unique reference that can be used to identify it. This reference is typically a serial number that distinguishes the invoice from others.
    4. You can use the invoice page to check the supplier’s credit limit before executing the invoice.
    5. Invoice Due Payment Date: This date is determined by default based on the payment terms agreed upon with the supplier and specified in their records.
    6. Supplier’s Reference: This is the reference number for the supplier’s invoice according to their records, used to facilitate the linkage of our internal invoices with those issued by the supplier.
    7. Additionally: you can choose the branch of the establishment to which you want to allocate the invoice through the dropdown menu of available establishment branches.
    8. Finally: you will be asked to choose the asset store where the assets from the invoice will be placed.
  • List of Invoice Assets:

    1. When you are ready to add assets to the invoice, you can choose the asset you want to purchase.
    2. You will need to specify the purchase price of the asset based on the price listed on the supplier’s invoice.
    3. The system supports all types of taxes, and these taxes will be automatically added to the invoice.

Note: In case of selecting a cash payment, the supplier’s payment is automatically added when executing the invoice.

When you have completed filling in all the details, you can click on the “Insert Invoice” button to complete the asset purchase process.
