Instructions to Access the “Overtime Types” Page:

  • Start by clicking on the “Employees” menu in the main navigation.
  • Next, click on “Attendance” available in the top toolbar.
  • Choose the “Overtime Types” page from the “Attendance” menu.

 

Summary of the “Overtime Types” Page:

The “Overtime Types” page is used to record the type of overtime work to be added and how it is calculated relative to the base hourly rate. For example, for overtime hours worked after regular working hours, there might be a rate like “overtime hour value = 1.5 times the base hourly rate.” Various types and rates can be recorded, such as overtime hours worked on holidays. All this information is recorded to automatically calculate the amount owed to employees for overtime work.

 

Options and Features of the “Overtime Types” Page:

  • View Overtime Types: On this page, you can view all the overtime types currently saved in the system. This option allows you to review all the existing types at once.
  • Edit Overtime Types: This page also enables you to easily edit any existing overtime type according to your needs. You’ll be able to update the details of current types easily.
  • Delete Overtime Types: If there’s a need to delete a specific type among the “Overtime Types,” you can do so through this page. You can delete types that are no longer needed with just one click.

 

Explanation of How to Create “Overtime Types”:

  • Overtime Type Name: Enter a name for the overtime type you want to add. The name should be clear and descriptive of the type of overtime work, such as “overtime after regular working hours” or “overtime on holidays,” and so on.
  • Overtime Rate: Specify the rate at which overtime hours are calculated relative to the base hourly rate. For example, the overtime hour’s value could be equal to double the base hourly rate.
  • Save Data: Finally, click on the “Add New Record” button to save the overtime information in the system and record it permanently.

Using this page, you can define various types of overtime work and customize their calculation rates, making it easy to accurately and systematically record and track overtime hours for employees in the system.
