Product Attributes

This page provides a detailed and comprehensive overview of product attributes, along with precise guidance on how to add and input their basic data.

To access the “Product Attributes” page, please follow these instructions:

• Start by clicking on the “E-Store” menu in the main menu.
• Then, click on “Products” available in the top toolbar.
• You will be taken to the “Product Attributes” page, which displays all types of attributes added to the system.
• You can also edit the data of any attribute by simply clicking on the attribute’s link.

Using these steps, you can easily add and edit product attributes and organize them according to your needs.

Options and Features of the “Product Attributes” page:

• Process Diversity: The system provides a variety of options related to product attributes. Whether you want to add a new attribute, modify a current one, or delete an attribute, you can do so easily according to your needs.
• User-Friendly Interface: The system offers a user-friendly interface for entering product attribute details with ease. You can enter basic information such as the name and type effortlessly.
• Organized Display: In addition to data input, you can view product attribute data in an organized and readable format. You will find a list of all registered product attributes in the system.

• The relationship between product attributes and product types: Product attributes form the foundation for product types. A set of product attributes represents a specific type, and this type is linked to the corresponding product with the specifications of that type.

Explanation of How to Add a “New Attribute”:

• Start by clicking on the “Add New” link located at the top of the page.
• Key: This serves as an ID for the attribute.
• Attribute Name: Enter the name of the attribute you wish to add, for example, “Camera,” “Storage Capacity,” or “Battery.”
• Type: This is where you can specify the attribute type.
• “Required” Button: When active, this button plays a vital role, preventing the addition of a product belonging to a specific product type (e.g., “Phones”) if a value is not provided for a specified attribute (e.g., “Screen Size”). To illustrate, if the “Required” button is activated for one of these attributes, such as “Screen Size,” it won’t be possible to add a product without providing a value for this attribute related to screen size.
• “Searchable” Button: Enabling this button makes the attribute searchable.
• Settings:
  • Add Image: Add a realistic image that represents the attribute.
• Finally, click the “Save” button to add the new attribute.
