To access the Sales Returns page, please follow these instructions carefully:
- Start by navigating to the Sales screen from the main menu by clicking on the Sales option. Then, the Invoice window will appear, where you will click.
- When you are in the Invoice window, you will need to select the link labeled “Sales Returns,” which will allow you to access the page dedicated to returns.
Options and Features of the Sales Returns page:
- On this page, you will find an option to use filters, “Date – …,” which can be accessed by clicking on the filter icon on the left side of the page. Using these filters, you can query the invoices in the system.
- You can view any existing sales return, with the ability to edit it according to your needs and requirements.
- You can also view the accounting entry associated with any of these documents through a custom button at the end of each transaction.
- You have the ability to print any return and keep a hard copy.

Basic Sales Return Data:

- Select the customer who owns the sales return from the dropdown list of customers.
- Choose the customer’s branch from the dropdown list of customer branches.
- Each sales return is characterized by a unique reference used to distinguish it within the system, and this reference is a serial number that can be identified.
- You can choose the type of sale for the sales return from the “Price List” dropdown menu.
- You must choose the shipping company responsible for returning the items.
- Through this page, you can also choose the sales representative responsible for the return.
- You can specify the creation date of the return, which is automatically set based on the current date, but you have the option to modify it.
- You can choose the establishment’s branch related to the return from the dropdown list of establishment branches.

Sales Return Items Table:
- When you are ready to add sales return items, you can choose the products you want to return, whether they are previously purchased products, internally manufactured products, or services.
- You will need to specify the quantity for each item, as well as enter the price for each returned item.
- You can also add a discount percentage to each item as needed.
- The system supports all types of taxes, and these taxes will be automatically added to the return.
- You can also include the shipping cost associated with the invoice in the shipping cost field, then click the “Update” button to save the changes.

Data for the Return of Items to the Warehouse:

- Choose the type of return: It depends on whether it will affect the inventory in case of returning the item intact to the warehouses or it’s just a financial transaction in case of a damaged item. In the case of damage, an additional option to choose how to record the losses in the general ledger will appear, where the value of the damaged item will be charged to the loss or damage account or another account.
- Select the warehouse to which the return items will be returned.
When you have filled in all the details, click the “Insert Sales Return” button to create the return.”
