Explanation of Adding a New Shipping Method:
Start by clicking on the “Add New” link located at the top of the page.
- Store: Select the store where the shipping method you want to add is available.
- Shipping Method Name: Set the name of the shipping method you wish to add, such as “Free Delivery,” “Express Delivery,” and so on.
- Display Name: Set the name of the shipping method that will appear to users when they complete an order, such as “Free Delivery within a specified number of days,” “Express Delivery for an additional fee,” and so on.
- Type: Add a code that represents the store’s name.
- Price: Specify the shipping cost associated with the method you wish to add, with the option to enter zero if it’s free delivery or for in-store pickup.
- Minimum Quantity: Define the minimum quantity that a customer can select for this method. If an order is placed for a quantity less than the specified minimum, this method will not be available to the user.
- Address Required: This setting allows you to control whether the user is required to provide an address to complete the purchase. In some cases, an address may not be mandatory, such as when selecting in-store pickup.
- Shipping Method Status – Active / Inactive: In this step, decide the status of the method, whether it’s active or inactive. You have two options:
