To access the “Units of Measurement” page, please follow these steps:
- Start by clicking on the “Warehouses” section in the main menu of the system.
- Then, the Warehouses screen will appear. Look for the “Warehouse Structure” window in the top toolbar of the page.
- Click on this “Warehouse Structure” window and then press the “Units of Measurement” page link.

- Concept of Units of Measurement: “Units of Measurement” represent the method by which all items the company deals with are measured. They are the fundamental units used to measure and record exchangeable items. For example, “electrical products” are measured in pieces, while “food items” are measured in kilograms, and so on.
- Uses of Units of Measurement: The importance of units of measurement lies in their association with the items and categories you possess. You can assign “Units of Measurement” to different items, allowing you to efficiently organize and record items in the appropriate units. For example, you can set “piece” as the unit of measurement for one group of items and “kilogram” for another.
- Degree of Decimalization: The degree of decimalization for each unit of measurement is also determined, where it can be an integer or include decimal places. These details are clearly shown in the documents.
Options and Features of the Units of Measurement Page:
- Through this page, you can review the units of measurement currently in the system.
- In addition, the system allows you to edit any type of “Units of Measurement” as needed.
- There is also an option to delete any type of “Units of Measurement” if you wish.
Explanation of How to Add a New Unit of Measurement:
- Below, there are some fields designated for adding details of the new unit of measurement.
- Add the abbreviated code for the new unit, such as “KG” for kilograms or “hr” for hours.
- Enter the name of the new standard unit you want to create.
- Select the decimal places for the unit of measurement.

- Select the appropriate decimal places for the unit of measurement. You can choose the value 0 if you want the unit to be a whole number, i.e., not divisible.
- For non-zero values, you can specify the number of decimal places available for the unit. This can indicate the possibility of dividing the item.
Once you’ve filled in the required details, click the “Add” button to add the new unit of measurement.
